Boys High School Varsity Wrestling

Hi, my name is Shawn Wilkinson, I am the head wrestling coach at Twin Valley High School. I am reaching out to you and would like to talk to your child about wrestling. 

In this sport, you wrestle people that are the same weight as you; size is not an issue as it may be in a sport like football or basketball. The sport of wrestling also helps young people develop important qualities such as self esteem, sportsmanship, work ethic and leadership skills.

Little about our program: 3 years ago we had a state qualifier and 3 district qualifiers. 4 years we went 16-9, we had a state qualifier and 3 district qualifiers. We were the 2nd best wrestling team in school history.  We just missed district team playoffs, which no Twin Valley wrestling team has ever made districts as a team.  

We're a couple wrestlers away from competing in berks. 

I am all about having fun and teaching your kids how to prepare for the real world. I involve strategy, and games like dodge ball, basketball and other sports into my practice.  I believe in the weight room, your son would become bigger, stronger and faster. I create personalized lifting programs based on max lift for each wrestler. 

I would love to give your child an opportunity to be on a winning team and part of history for Twin Valley Wrestling.

A little about me, I was Twin Valley most outstanding athlete in 2006 and received  a scholarship to Lock Haven University. I currently play men's rugby, while working and coaching Track and Wrestling.
