TULPEHOCKEN HIGH SCHOOL: 9
Twin Valley appeared to be cruising as they entered the bottom of the 5th up 5-0. But the Trojans woke up and scored 4 to pull within 1. The Raiders answered with 4 in the top of the 6th, but Tulpehocken bounced back again with 5 of their own to knot it at 9-9 going into the final inning. Jared Jones led off the top of the 7th with a walk and moved to third on a single down the line by pinch-hitter Trevor Laraia. Dom Kennedy then doubled to right to score Jones and Laraia scored two pitches later on a wild pitch. Drew Donnellan settled into a rythm in the 7th and made quick work of the Trojan line-up as the Raiders escaped with a win. Brad Rutherford threw a solid 4 2/3 innings before running into some trouble. Dom Kennedy had 3 hits, including 2 doubles and Joey Storz had a double. Ethan Leslie and Jake Kennedy each had two hits.
